Injuries Limiting The Birds of Play

The Birds of Play guitarist and singist James Christensen is suffering from a variety of minor ailments sure to limit his effectiveness during Wednesday’s practice. A sore left wrist and elbow, coupled with an achy back will make the normally pleasant practice session a challenge. The wrist is of particular concern as it may affect his fingering. Speculation as to the cause of the multitude of physical maladies ranges from a low-grade cold to an awkward sleeping position. Christensen’s age has also been mentioned as a likely cause, leaving his fans and the other, younger members of The Birds of Play to wonder if the man who wrote “I Feel So Old” is doing just that.
